Sales Representative - Smart Locks / Lockers

A commercial joinery manufacturing and installation business is looking for an experienced Area Sales Representative / Sales Account Manager to join the team. Must have prior experience in Lock / Lockers / Joinery Hardware sales. 

This is a newly created division for the business, which is rapidly expanding. 

Head office is based in Sydney – There is one other BDM currently working in the NSW market. Due to rapid growth, they are looking to bring another superstar onboard to help with both the NSW market and to start moving into QLD.  

Your main role and responsibilities:

  • Business Development is going to be a fundamental part of this role. 
  • Work with both new and existing clients (some warm leads provided)
  • Work on identifying new opportunities
  • Achieve KPI’s 
  • Manage and maintain the CRM to ensure no opportunities are missed. 
  • Attending trade shows throughout NSW. 
  • Currently a massive factory/ warehouse based in Sydney. 

Experience and Qualities required:

  • Must have prior experience in Lock / Lockers / Joinery Hardware sales. 
  • Experience and a proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Be well-presented and have a proactive and positive nature.
  • Be interested and confident in starting work and developing a completely new division.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer first focus
  • You have high-level service standards
  • Be well presented and confident. 
  • Be open and willing to travel throughout NSW, visiting with customers and attending trade shows. 
  • Be incredibly organised and self managed.

NOTE: Salary will be discussed with the candidate and based largely on experience however, will include a Base + Un-capped commission (based on Lock Sales) + Super – You will also be provided with a Phone, Laptop and either a car or car allowance.
