Project Manager - Commercial Joinery

A state of the art commercial joinery company based in Wetherill Park is looking for an experienced Joinery Project Manager. 

Specialising in office fit outs, education and healthcare. Project values are generally up to $1m.
 
About the role:

  • Manage a variety of  commercial joinery projects.
  • Work with sub-contractors and site staff to ensure the smooth running of each project
  • Set targets for manufacturing.
  • Review and Order required materials.
  • Review joinery drawings ready for production.
  • Oversee site staff and sub-contractors. 
  • Liase closely with project managers and clients.
  • Manage a team of drafters and manufacturers to produce high-quality joinery.

About you:

  • Extensive experience in joinery, project management or similar.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction in a respectful manner.
  • Need to be personable, have a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving skills and effective decision making. 
  • Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Sound administrative and estimating skills.
  • A current driver’s licence
