A leading Design and Construction company, specialising in the development and redevelopment of Commercial, Retail, Food, Heath and Education projects is on the lookout for a new Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join the team. 

This company delivers substantial commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across greater NSW.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible in the management of multiple projects
• Manage the project from Pre-construction through to completion. 
• Liaise with local councils and service providers to coordinate and establish services connections
• Maintain the contract and financial administration
• Work closely with the Project Managers and Site managers
• Complete “handovers” and manage the occupational certificate processes. 
• Report of the weekly status of outstanding tasks
• Establish and maintain relations with key stakeholders, local councils and consultants. 

Experience and Skills:

• Relevant qualification in Construction, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years working in the Australian construction industry. Commercial experience is desired but not essential. 
• Have exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Understand the importance of maintaining budget requirements
• Have a sound understanding of both the NCC and Australian Construction Standards.
• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (particularly excel) and knowledge in Microsoft Project would be advantageous. 
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Software & Systems
  – Currently using **Cheops** however, they are transitioning to **Procore**. Procore experience would be advantageous but not essential. 
• Australian citizen or permanent resident. – No sponsorship can be offered.
