We are looking for a new Project Coordinator OR Cadet Project Coordinator for a Commercial Fitout company based in the hills area. 

Projects typically include Retail, Hospitality and Office. 

The business is looking for someone who is organised, proactive, has a strong work ethic. Ideally someone who is eager to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

A sound understanding of construction and the ability to communicate effectively with trades would be highly regarded.

This role is open to people from a range of backgrounds, including;

• Tradespeople looking to transition off the tools into project management. (Minimum 1 year on site experience.)
• Construction Management or Project Management graduates.
• Candidates with previous project coordination or contract administration experience within the commercial fit-out industry.

The role will include the below responsibilities;

• Procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Project setup and mobilisation.
• Engaging and coordinating trades and suppliers.
• Preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
• Assisting with project programming and scheduling.
• Monitoring project costs and variations.
• Maintaining project documentation and administration.
• General project coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
