Project Administrator - Commercial Construction

We are on the hunt for a Project Administrator / Junior Contract Administrator to work with a large commercial construction company based in the Sydney’s Lower North shore. 

Day to Day Responsibilities 

  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and change orders. 
  • Prepare and distribute  project-related reports, memos, and correspondence.
  • Support project managers in tracking project expenses, invoices, and budgets.
  • Preparing purchase orders, processing invoices, and bank reconciling.
  • Monitor project costs.
  • Maintain RFIs (Requests for Information), and change order files.
  • Work closely with accounts departments to reconcile financial data and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare WHS documents are required. 

Skills and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar.
  • Previous experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator similar related role in construction industry. 
  • Knowledge of construction project management processes and terminology.
  • Experience in contractor management software and knowledge of Microsoft office.

  • Work with a construction company, specialising in education, aged care and health projects. Typical range is anywhere from $20-$30M
  • Salary guide $90k – $110k + super
  • Permanent, full-time position
