Office Administrator

Office Administrator | Project administrator for a growing and busy building contractor.

We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator / Project administrator to join a small, growing business that competes in residential and commercial maintenance contracts.

We are looking for a trusty worthy individual so manage the administrative tasks involved in remediation and strata projects for the business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for the business; you will be the liaison between tenants/ owners and clients, body corporates/ strata business.
  • General Booking and general back-end office administration.
  • Implementing administration policies.
  • Project administration duties; including completing building contracts and other relevant paperwork to deliver projects for clients
  • Ordering and sourcing trades and materials.
  • Scheduling the trades and sub-contractors. 
  • Executive support
  • Perform general ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office administration with the construction industry is a MUST. – Experience in the remedial/strata sector is preferred.
  • Experience with office administration or project administration is highly desirable given that it is a blend of both office management and project administration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative duties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and GoogleSuite (Sheets, Docs).
  • Reliability and ability to work independently.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia

  • Salary guide is approx $100k + super (is negotiable based on experience)
  • Office Location: Hurstville
  • There is no work from home. This is a office based role. Part time can be offered if required.
