We are looking for an experienced Residential Leading Hand/ Carpenter for a residential construction company based in inner west Sydney. You will work on luxury, high end, custom residential projects. 

Duties include:

• Managing and coordinating day labour and  subcontractors.
• Keeping accurate records, e.g. timesheets, work variations etc.  
• Ensure that all material and equipment is on site in time and suitable to the projects requirements. 
• Attend toolbox meetings
• Maintain site registers, diaries including progression photos. As well as timesheets. 
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current standards & codes.
• Maintaining safety records and safety documentation.
• Identify and assessing hazards and controlling safety risks.

Requirements, 

• Trade background, with experience in commercial or custom residential construction.
• Experience as a Site Manager/ Foreman, having managed projects from commencement to completion
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate decisions.
