We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer / Draftsperson with Cabinet Vision experience to join a Kitchen joinery business based in the Hornsby region. 

*Remote work, sponsorships, and contractor work is unfortunately not available for this position. Only local applicants will be considered.*
  
This is a well-established business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of custom Kitchens, Bathrooms and Joinery. Predominately working on residential new builds and renovation projects. 

Duties & responsibilities:

• Interpreting construction plans & client drawings into a workable kitchen design.
• Providing clear and concise plans of kitchens and joinery.
• Contribute to the overall client schedule.
• Creating job costings using cabinet vision.
• Communicate with clients to ensure all requirements are met.
• Ordering materials as required for jobs.

Experience & attributes:

• Experience with Cabinet Vision is a MUST. 
• The ability to convert drawings to cutting lists and create shop drawings ready for production. 
• The ability to work to schedules and meet deadlines.  
• A keen eye for detail and a sound knowledge of joinery materials. 
• Have the ability to work independently and without supervision, as well as working within a team environment.
• Joinery knowledge is essential. 
• On site experience (preferred).
