A fast growing and expanding Office Fit Out Construction company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team.
This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Contract Administrator and is wanting to step up into a Jr PM role as their next challenge.
Projects typically include Commercial, Office and Workspace fit outs, refurbishments and refits.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll start on the “Churn work” – Building maintenance, make -good works etc. Once confident, you will start to move onto larger projects.
- You will provide progress reports across all projects to the clients and management.
- You will help guide and support to administrators and site teams.
- Manage the projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Regularly attend site visits and collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills and Experience:
Candidates will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management or similar.
- Local experience working as a Contract Admin or Jr Project Manager on fitout projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies.
- Knowledge of Procore would be an advantage but not essential.
- A sound knowledge of major building trades
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Australian working rights.
