Fit out Project Manager

A fast growing and expanding Office Fit Out Construction company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team. 

This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Contract Administrator and is wanting to step up into a Jr PM role as their next challenge. 

Projects typically include Commercial, Office and Workspace fit outs, refurbishments and refits. 

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll start on the “Churn work” – Building maintenance, make -good works etc. Once confident, you will start to move onto larger projects. 
  • You will provide progress reports across all projects to the clients and management. 
  • You will help guide and support to administrators and site teams. 
  • Manage the projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Regularly attend site visits and collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth project execution.

Skills and Experience:
Candidates will ideally demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management or similar.
  • Local experience working as a Contract Admin or Jr Project Manager on fitout projects. 
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Procore would be an advantage but not essential. 
  • A sound knowledge of major building trades
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills 
  • Australian working rights.
