We are looking for a Cadet | Undergrad or Junior Accountant to join a busy, locally owned construction company based in Moorebank. 

Open to meeting with people currently studying their qualification and looking for/ needing part time work as well. 

Company Overview:

• This is a Design & Construct Commercial Builder.
• Emphasis on modern delivery of New-Build Commercial Buildings, Complex spaces & Mixed-Use Apartment Buildings.
• They also deliver Major refurbishments and Fit outs. 

Role Description: 

• Working under the Head company Accountant.
• Accounts payable including, entering supplier invoices and payments.
• Accounts receivable including, raising invoices and receipt of payments.
• Data entry in MYOB
• Ensure monthly payment are made by due dates.
• Respond to all accounts payable and receivable enquiries.
• Weekly / Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Invoice collections – follow up of outstanding invoices via phone, letters and emails.
• General Adhoc duties as required. 

Experience and skills:

• Currently have or are studying towards your accounting degree or similar, relevant qualifications.
• Some prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry would be beneficially. 
• Understanding of MYOB is preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Excel and Microsoft project is an advantage
• Have relevant working rights within Australia

*Salary Guide: $65k – $75K + Super
