We are looking for a new Mid- Senior Level Estimator!

About the company:
Specialising in high-end commercial, office, and healthcare projects, this role is ideal for an estimator seeking to join a tight knit team with a strong project pipeline. You will be predominately responsible for the businesses Office Fitouts. 

Your typical day will involve:

  • Tendering and pricing submissions on commercial fit out and refurbishments projects.
  • You will work closely with the BDM and the Business Director.
  • Closely manage and grow the estimating team, mentoring and assisting junior staff members.
  • Help improve systems and processes within the business.
  • Assist with project teams with their contractor selection, procurement and vetting process.
  • Grow and maintain your relations with key stakeholders.
  • Attend presentations and meetings. You will have the opportunity to attend industry events and engage in networking opportunities.
  • Have a key role in developing KPI targets on secured projects.

We’re Seeking Someone With:

  • You will ideally have 2+ years experience in commercial construction, ideally within the fit out or refurbishment sector.
  • You are ready to progress your career and eventually move into a more senior role.
  • Prove experience and record of estimating and pricing and securing tenders.
  • Have experience and confidence in client presentations and consultant discussions.
  • Have a strong sense of leadership, you will need to both manage and mentor your team.
  • Proficiency in estimating software “Procore and Proest” and MS Office tools (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • You’ll be part of a construction company specialising in high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Salary guide: $90k – $120k + super (depending on experience).
  • Full-time, permanent position. Office located in the Hills District.
