A fast growing and expanding Office Fit Out Construction company is looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team. 

Work on commercial fitout projects, mainly based in Sydney’s CBD. Projects typically range between $5m – $8M in value. Projects also can include “churn work” (maintenance, make-goods, refits, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects varying in value from $20k refits to $8M larger fitouts. 
• Analyse and review drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Source quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilise estimating software, such as Bluebeam & Cubit, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of costs and industry trends.
• Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure project feasibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in commercial fit outs.
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Bluebeam or Cubit.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with clients, suppliers, and team members.
