We are looking for a Construction Cadet | Undergrad to join the team of a successful and expanding Commercial & residential Interior Fitout company. Located within Sydney’s inner west. 

Projects include commercial construction and fitouts, refurbs / relocations. As well as residential renovations. 

Responsibilities:

• Actively support the planning, execution, and delivery of  projects.
• Grown and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 
• Monitor project schedules and deliver provide updates. 
• Prepare and oversee project documentation, contracts, budgets, & schedules.
• Assist the contract / project management team.
• Ensure projects adhere to time and budget guidelines. 
• Manage scope changes, variations, and any defects that arise. 

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field
• Preference would be for a person with at least one year experience.
• Prior experience labouring or being on site would be a big advantage.  
• Local knowledge and familiarity with Building Standards.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
