An opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial controller / manager to join the team at a well established commercial joinery construction business based in Western Sydney. 

Your main role and responsibilities:

• Help manager all financial activities, adhering to accounting standards.
• Work closely with the directors / owners of the business. 
• Prepare and review all financial statements and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
• Support planning and decision-making processes.

Experience and skills required:

• Be able to effectively communicate with management and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) 
• Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roles within the joinery or construction industry. 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

This position includes:

• $120k – $150k + Super (depending on experience and qualifications)
