A commercial joinery and woodworking machine business is looking for an experienced Head Sales Agent / Business Development Manager to join the team.
You will be managing B2B sales withing the joinery and construction industry. This role will give you the opportunity to travel across Australia and will have potential overseas travel opportunities as well.
Currently factory/ warehouse’s are based in Sydney (Liverpool region) and Melbourne (Dandenong region)
Your main role and responsibilities:
- Business Development is going to be a fundamental part of this role.
- Work with both new and existing clients (some warm leads provided)
- Work on identifying new opportunities
- Achieve KPI’s
- Manage and maintain the CRM to ensure no opportunities are missed.
- Attending trade shows throughout Australia.
Experience and Qualities required:
- Experience and a proven track record in sales and business development.
- Be well-presented and have a proactive and positive nature.
- Be interested and confident in starting work and developing a completely new division.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer first focus
- You have high-level service standards
- Be well presented and confident.
- Be open and willing to travel throughout Australia, visiting with customers and attending trade shows.
- Be incredibly organised and self managed.
Salary Guide: $100k -$150k base + super + un-capped commission.
You will also be provided with a Phone, Laptop and either a car or car allowance.
