Accounts Officer / Stock Controller

We are looking for a bit of a office administrator/ jack of all trades. We are needing someone experienced in both accounts and inventory control. 

This role is Fulltime and Office based (No WFH). We are open to meeting people that may require flexibility around school drop off’s and pickups if required. We are looking for someone who is reliable and a quick learner, keen to get started and become part of a close team of people.

What’s on Offer:

  • Work with a large company based both here and overseas, but with a small local team here. 
  • Salary guide $85,000 – $95,000 + super (based on experience)
  • Permanent, Full-time position. Immediate Start. 
  • Office is located in South Brisbane.

Duties include:

  • General Administration duties
  • Inventory management and procurement
  • Stock control
  • Full-function Accounts and Bookkeeping.
  • Billing, receipting and reconciliation of payments
  • Responding to creditor and debtor inquiries
  • Purchasing, ordering of materials. 

Experience and skills required:

  • Relevant degree, diploma or certificate in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.(would be advantageous)
  • Prior experience within the construction/ manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in a Bookkeeping position or a similar position
  • Knowledge and experience in inventory and stock management, purchasing, and supply chain.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM, Outlook etc. 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to work to a schedule and complete tasks on time. 
  • Australian working rights.
