We are looking for an experienced Carpenter/ Junior Site Manager for a  specialist contractor operating with the medical fit‑outs and refurbishment industry. 
  
Project values vary from small works > $400k up to larger projects nearly $2M

Works are often live environments requiring careful sequencing and professionalism.

Project Locations

• Sites across Sydney Metro region. 
• Some sites offer parking; others require paid parking which is reimbursed.

About the role:

• Looking for an additional Site Manager / Supervisor to manage ongoing refurbishments.
• The role would suit a junior site manager or experienced carpenter looking to transitioning off the tools into site management.
• You will have strong internal support and guidance. 
• Staff and trades move between sites and projects to assist each other as and when needed. 
• Company vehicles are provided.

Ideal person – Attributes & Qualities

• Carpentry background is essential
• Calm, professional, and composed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be capable of multitasking and managing more than one job at once
• Happy to be semi hands‑on when required (doors, framing, small carpentry works)
• Managing multiple trades and sequencing works
• Understanding of compliance‑driven construction environments
• Be knowledgeable and proficient in Email and MS Projects. 
• Prior experience in Hospital, Medical or live‑environment construction is an advantage. 
• Lead shielding experience is beneficial but not mandatory – training and support are provided.
• Due to the nature of the role and the projects, it is a requirement that you are a Non‑smoker. (explicit requirement)
• Police checks required for hospital access (standard, straightforward process)

Salary Expectations

• Salary range: $110k – $120k + super – There is some flexibility for the right person.
