We are working with a growing, privately owned construction business based near Blacktown.
They are looking to appoint a mid‑level Estimator to strengthen their pre‑construction capability and to work closely with the leadership team.
You will work on a broad mix of project‑based work.
Projects are varied and typically include:
- Council‑delivered projects
- Amenities buildings
- Re‑roofing works (up to ~4,000 sqm)
- Fit‑outs (including childcare facilities)
- Commercial strip‑outs and upgrades
- Warehouse works
- Retail rollouts (including national clients)
Project values generally range from $500k up to ~$3M and are based across the sydney metro region.
The Role
As the Estimator, you will:
- Prepare take‑offs, BOQs, and pricing for tenders
- Manage RFIs, addendums, and tender documentation
- Assist with methodology writing and submission requirements
- Work closely with the Directors and Project Managers
- Help implement and improve estimating systems and software
- Reduce reliance on spreadsheets and manual processes
- Take real ownership of your estimating.
What we are looking for:
This is a mid – level Estimator role.
- You will need to have solid estimating experience in commercial construction.
- Relevant qualifications.
- You must be comfortable working across varied project types.
- You can work independently but collaboratively.
- Be someone who fits a small‑business environment and a team‑focused culture.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Salary guide:
- $120k – $140k + Super
- Open to discussion based on experience and value brought
