A new opportunity have become available for an experienced Accountant/ Accounts Administrator to join the team of a busy construction and fit out company.
Currently located in the Southern/ Bayside region on Sydney near Sydney Airport, however, are relocating their office into Sydney’s inner west approx. mid year.

Who does this role suit?
These opportunities would suit experienced construction accountant/ accounts administrator looking for a permanent, fulltime role.
You will be looking to work with a small team of people within the construction, fit out industry. *You will need to open to travel to Kogarah before the office relocates closer to the city*
Duties & Responsibilities
- Help manage all financial activities, adhering to accounting standards.
- Prepare and review all financial statements and reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
- Support planning and decision-making processes.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
- MUST Have experience in accounting or finance roles within the joinery or construction industry.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Must be able to multitask. This is a busy role with a lot of moving components.
- Be a people person, you will be the front line of the business, and you must be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external contacts. You must have great written and verbal communication skills.

Salary guide is $110K+ super (based on your experience level)
