We have a need for multiple experience Furniture assemblers for a very busy and expanding commercial furniture company. 

You primary role with be to assemble “flat pack” office furniture on site. 

Travel is a requirement of the role, you will typically be travelling with the furniture and supplies in delivery trucks and vans. Jobs are based all across great Sydney region. 

Your role with include:

• Assembly and Installation of Office furniture. (think Desks, Chairs, Storage Units, Board rooms tables etc.) Small and large scale volume. 
• On site assembly. You will be in the clients space assembling the furniture and cabinetry.
• Minor installation tasks such as: drilling, doing cut outs for power boxes and cords t run though tables. (predominately handled by senior assemblers.)
• You will be working typically in a team of two, however large jobs with have more team members involved to assist. 

Skills and experience:

• Prior experience in furniture assembly and installation. Experience assembling office furniture would be an advantage. 
• Experience using handle tools for small jobs such as drilling and cut outs. 
• You need to be able to work in a team environment, you will be working with at least one other installer. 
• White card is required to be on site.

Pay Rates

• Junior installers: $32–$35 per hour. + super
• Senior installers: $35–$40 per hour. + super
