The Role: In this role, you’ll be ensuring the well-being of team members across various projects throughout Greater Sydney.
While primarily office-based, you’ll have the chance to hit the ground (and the construction site) running with required site visits. Reporting directly to management, you’ll play a vital part in shaping and implementing our safety strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- This role is comprehensive WHS management position where you will be making changes to the daily work lives, through direct decisions as well as passively through actively promoting a safer future within the company and its employees. This will be done through;
- Implementing and developing compliant WHS management systems and Quality management across multiple commercial sites
- Provide guidance to leadership and project teams on WHS matters.
- Develop and deliver safety training and lead risk workshops.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in WHSEQ processes and systems.
Your experience and qualifications:
- Extensive WHS experience within the commercial construction industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or similar.
- Comprehension of NSW WHS laws and Australian construction standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence.
- Experience as a hands-on, solutions-oriented leader.
Current salary guide: $140k – $170k + super.
