We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Estimator to join the team of a commercial fit-out and refurbishment company.

Specialising in high-end commercial, office, and healthcare projects, this role is ideal for a junior to mid-level estimator seeking to join a tight knit team with a strong project pipeline.

Your typical day will involve:

• Meeting tendering deadlines and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Determining material and labour requirements and creating itemised lists.
• Generating estimates and communicating project details to construction teams.
• Identifying cost trends, contributing to cost reduction, and enhancing processes.
• Reviewing and finalising tender documentation to align with the proposal.
• Evaluating and selecting suppliers and subcontractors for competitive and accurate pricing.
• Managing quotes for projects and analysing drawings and specifications, including take-offs.

We’re Seeking Someone With:

• Previous experience in fit-out estimating within the commercial construction sector.
• Proven track record in estimating projects across various sectors such as commercial workspace, healthcare, education, and government.
• Strong professional relationships with clients, project managers, architects, and engineers.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office tools (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Salary guide: $180k + super (depending on experience).
