An opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Accounts / Financial controller to join the team. The company is a large apartment developer and construction company. 

Your main role and responsibilities:

• Help manager all financial activities, adhering to accounting standards.
• Work closely with the CFO
• Prepare and review all financial statements and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
• Support planning and decision-making processes.

Experience and Qualities required:

• Be able to effectively communicate with management and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roles within the joinery or construction industry. 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

This position includes:

• $120k – $140k + Super (depending on experience and qualifications)
