We are working with a growing, privately owned construction business based near Blacktown.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Carpenter/ Site Manager to start work on a remediation project that is due to commence mid June. This project is based in Bayside region. 

About the company: 

The business takes on a broad mix of project‑based work. 

Projects are varied and typically include:

• Council‑delivered projects 
• Amenities buildings
• Re‑roofing works (up to ~4,000 sqm)
• Fit‑outs (including childcare facilities)
• Commercial strip‑outs and upgrades
• Warehouse works
• Retail rollouts (including national clients)
• Remediation projects. 

Project values generally range from $500k up to ~$3M and are based across the sydney metro region. 

About the role:

• Looking for an additional Site Manager / Supervisor to manage ongoing refurbishments.
• The company is open to meeting with experienced carpenter’s looking to transitioning off the tools into site management.
• You will have strong internal support and guidance. 
• Staff and trades move between sites and projects to assist each other as and when needed. 
• Own vehicle is required however a company car may be offered after probation. (Fuel and toll will be supplied)

Ideal person – Attributes & Qualities

• Carpentry background is essential
• Calm, professional, and composed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be capable of multitasking and managing more than one job at once
• Happy to be semi hands‑on when required (doors, framing, small carpentry works)
• Managing multiple trades and sequencing works
• Understanding of compliance‑driven construction environments
• Be knowledgeable and proficient in Email and MS Projects. 
• Prior experience in remediation or live‑environment construction is an advantage.

Salary Guide:

• Salary range: $45 – $60 per hour depending on experience (Annual $90k – $125k + super) – There is some flexibility for the right person.
